<VV> Corvair Fan - pro/e

In what way is Pro/E less capable design software than Unigraphics?  I use Pro/E every day and it is quite capable.  It's a pain in the a$$ but it is very capable - I can't think of anything I could do in UG that I can't do in Pro/E.

I could model the fan and make some drawings but I don't know enough about fan design to design it.

Anyone using Solid Works or Pro Engineer?  Less
capable design software but still likely up to the job.
