<VV> rotating rear mount: really?

On examining my failed '65 mount, I see that the downward pointing
studs are driven into their holes like wheel studs. When I started
torquing my new mount (50-60 ft.lb.) the studs started turning at under
45 pounds. I'm sure the new correct nuts are tight enough and won't
unscrew themselves, letting the engine down. Is there a great
possibility that vibration would wear out the stud heads and drop the
engine catastrophically?

My theory is that since the nuts are tight on the stud shaft, they
won't loosen. The studs, free to turn, won;'t turn much, and should
last until the mount itself wears out. D'ya think I'm right? I really
don't want to replace the mount yet again. After all, I might get
another mount with loose studs. Comments, anyone? -ron 65,66
