When you get feeling like  this...it's"helplessness"........plain and 
simple..  Your email is a "CRY for help"  IMO   As you become more experienced  with 
your car......these feelings won't come up....it'll be "maintenance time"

When you master the beast.....nothing is demoralizing....and I don't mean you 
can rebuild anything on the car yourself...best tune-up  person around, etc..

Like me....I've never rebuilt anything......I just merrily replace parts with 
more used parts....simple...fast....and financially rewarding.....plus leaves 
me a lot of free time...When I buy a Corvair...it's with the knowledge I'll 
not put my heart and soul in it....it's a fun thing for me........so I'm the 
Master!

I'm sick..I know.....because I love  FIXING  things......a new acquisition is 
always a joy  to possess...because 
it's most likely full of suprises....and my mission is to fix them BEFORE 
they bite me!

Think of Smitty......he's a Master......nothing stops him!  If he writes he's 
"Sick of Vairs".....we'll not argue!  gggg
