I just came thru Medford today....102!  Redding was probably 108[?]

I'd suggest driving at night......make it to ORLAND,CA.  [40 miles south of 
Red Bluff]
Orland Inn.....nice...$50....nice Casino right up the I-5 [10 miles]  Good 
food!

Stop at 11 am..get a room....take off at 9 pm.....you'll be in Portland 
easy...

It doesn't take long to register / pick up the stuff.....then go rest...be up 
for the Evening RUSH!  GGGGG

Just like flying to Europe....get there and sleep 1st  LOL!
