thomas,that heater is on 2 bolts to the cover. the holes are slotted so you 
just need to get under and look up at them. loosen them about 2 turns and slide 
the cover off. the box is heavy enough to feel like it wont budge but it 
will. same thing on fc's. i removed mine to put gas heaters in.  look on each side 
of the differential, you can reach them with a long extension  or stretch 
yourself with a combo wrench.
