Of course the On Star system has lots of uses, and for those who are
absent-minded is great for unlocking your vehicle... God forbid I ever have a crash
and can't get out of the car, but On Star is there to call for help.... I don't
think I've ever had a car worth stealing, but they can track the vehicle and
give the location to the police... I don't know... I think it's right up there
with the "it takes a village to ___" fill in the blank, but I think "it takes
a village idiot to lock his keys in his car".... I've lost keys, drove to work
without keys, but never locked them in...
:-)
I think when it cools down a little outside I'm gonna try to find the short
in my electrical system on the 64 sedan... I've ruled out the VR, since it was
still dropping when the VR was disconnected but I held the 2 "BAT" wires
together... very slow drain... I might look to see if it's the starter/heater hose
point that the EMs suffer from.
