So if leaving for several days you want to block the throttle open slightly 
to close the vent ?

OTOH there was something in the Doug Roe book on Rochester carbs about 
epoxying passage seals to prevent leakage from the float bowl. Would 
something like that apply to the H ? (Do not have one yet or would look).
