YES  Valves are larger in a140 head...and less cooling!

110's  run on 87 all the time if the car  / distributor / jetting is set up 
correctly..which seldom happens!  IMO

I had a 66 vert...205/60 /15's  3.89's...110......ran fine on 87...even up to 
Tahoe..Big Bear....in the heat...
