<VV> Double Emails

Is anyone else getting duplicate emails from VV ? What a pain.

Ok, so I must need a refresher course on what EGR's do.  ;op
I though that they recirculated exhaust gas back into the intake. 
Exactly how do they function? How would they reduce combustion chamber 
temps?

Obviously, I was sleeping when that class was going on.  ;op
