The 2 dollar bill has been around for many years of US history. It was 
discontinued in the 1960's,  during the mid-point of 60 years of Democratic 
Party control of the US government. It was revived in the mid 90's during 
the current run of Republican control of the Congress and (for the period 
2000-2008) the White House.

I guess in 60 years the Democrats didn't care enough about saving YOU money 
by replacing the 1 with the 2, they discontinued the 2 instead.....
