<VV> No Gas

Many thanks for the many helpful suggestions. I finally got  gas to the fuel pumps. I did this by jacking up the front end of the car as high as I could, then I disconnected the gas line at the fire wall and applied a little suction. and Volia gas was flowing. Car runs fine but for some reason I now have no reverse. The four forward gears are fine. Adjusted the shift linkage as per the Corvair Manual, any suggestions?
