Ah yes, that magic word - billet. Actually a billet is a solid piece of 
alloy material that has not been cast to shape.  The original diff 
snouts (clutch release bearing shaft's, Mark) are machined from cast 
steel, while the ones we sell are machined from solid mill spec stock. 
They are also machined to accept 2 seals AND the retainer. In my opinion 
this is a good upgrade to any differential but it involves the complete 
dissasembly  of the unit to install.  Lon
