<VV> vacuum sorce YH carb.

	Hi Ron.
It's a pretty simple device. The normal vacuum advance has a
tab that prevents the diaphram from moving when pressure is applied.
Dale takes the tab away. When you take it out of the box and look at
the arm, it floats. You do get instructions on initial timing. (22-24
BTC). Installation is pretty easy, if I recall. It's a direct
replacement for the pressure retard in the car. Dale recommends that
you plug the line that used to plug into the pressure retard into the
Dale unit. (which I did.) Vacuum while not under boost and reatrd when
you are spooling.
Two cautions: You will be fiddling with idle (it will go up)
and put small hose clamps on the vacuum line. After the hose blowing
off the unit a couple of times after boost, you'll come to the same
conclusion.

Do instructions come with the Dale advance/retard units? I was going to
order one but won't without good instructions.
