<VV> Powerglide

In a previous post Patio Matt says trikes were built with upside down
Powerglides.  How the heck do you get oil to stick to the roof of the pan
and gravity to drain the oil uphill?  I've thought about turning the
differential upside down and leaving the PG as is but the hole pattern is
not symmetrical.  The trans will not bolt on that way and the feed passage
to the torque convertor won't line up.  How do day do dat?
