Without putting too fine a point on this, but you must be one of those poor
folks that grew up with fuel injection and CCD Ignition Systems that never
shut the key off, pumped the gas a few times, and then turned the key back
on to impress your knothead friends!  It's an absolute scream in an
under-ground parking garage....good way to test the corrosion-level in your
mufflers and pipes too!   The hell gasoline CAN'T come out of the exhaust!

Also, I suggest that those for whom chemistry is a mysterious subject pick
up their Funk & Wagnall's and look up the word "stoichiometry"....it's also
why you can have raw gasoline running out the exhaust pipe!
