<VV> 4 door dome light question

Ok, I checked my 64 700 sedan, and the domelight is narrow end up front... go 
figure... build date is first week of June, 1964, and it has never been 
apart... also, it is a Willow Run car, if that matters.
This is the one that has the engine build date of my Dad's birthday "0522" 
which was his 39th B-day... diff is also the same date, and a 3.27:1 to boot!
Fun car... if I could just get that glowing GEN light to stop...
