You have to remember that there were many other headlight switches in 
production at the same time and that the switch is an assembly made up of a 
number of different parts. It may have been that a rating for one part 
(e.g. dimmer winding) was ok for the Monza but was exceeded for the Spyder 
and required a different part *already in inventory* (say for a Pontiac) 
but which cost a penny more. Changing the line was a matter of pulling the 
dimmer from a different bin and changing the part number. Perhaps someone 
would know if there was a price difference between the -122 and -123.

Again, without seeing the assembly drawing which may still be somewhere in 
Anderson, I cannot say exactly what the difference is, just that there is a 
difference and  apparently is not in the connections or mount.
