in my humble opinion, there should be a committe of past convention 
organizers to help future planners with advise on the behind the scene situations that 
have cropped up over the years to help tweak plans for the next ones.  any 
group without someone who has planned one before  may be under an unknown 
handicap or 2..each locale has their own issuses but the standard stuff with 
schedules and financial handeling etc, needs guide lines to work with.  just a 
thought.. now back to corvairs..
