In the 1965 chassis service manual (and 66 supp says there was no change) on page 7-55 (Automatic Transmission) there is a note at the bottom of the text that says "by disconnecting the TV rod at the carburetor, engine remains at idle speed throughout test". What TV (throttle valve) rod ? Is this the linkage from the accellerator pedal or am I missing something ? Padgett
