<VV> TV rod ?

The bellcrank on the transmission doubles as a TV shaft on the PG.  So 
yes, disconnect the rod at the carburetor cross shaft, then reconnect 
the pull back spring in the hole.  Generally I haven't found this to 
make any difference on an idle setting.
