So it sounds like Late G Meters are better than Early G Meters ?

Neat gadget I rarely used. Problem was that the coiled power cord is so 
heavy that it is hard to keep the instrument which is cantilevered out from 
the windscreen on suction cups level.

For them's what are interested http://www.gtechpro.com/ - mine is one of 
their older models (first one on http://www.gtechpro.com/prod.html ), 
suspect are much better now.
