Hey gang,
I've read this line or something like it 20 times in
the past week. If you want to use alcohol for fuel,
you need alcohol fuel and the fuel system that uses
it. If you need a gas dryer in the winter, buy a
bottle and keep it in the trunk. It is cheap. Got it
yet?
I have a great idea. If it isn't engineered for this
use, don't use it. Buy something that is, rather than
spin your wheels screwing around trying to make
something work that won't.
If OSHA and 10 people give you good reasons not to use
PVC for air lines, don't use it. If 20 people who have
the science at their fingertips say don't use medical
acohol in your Corvair, don't use it. If someone who
knows better tells you don't use coal oil in your
crankcase, well, Christ on a crutch, don't do it. Then
drop it.
