No, the classic 'vapor lock' symptom is car drives fine to store. 15 mins later you come out and the car starts fine. You back out of the parking space and there, or soon after, the car stalls and cranks fine, but no re-start. This is because the gasoline has vaporized in the fuel line and the fuel pump cannot move the vapor fast enough to get liquid flowing from the tank. Carb is not designed for vapor in float bowl either, so no start. Ice on fuel pump usually gets liquid fuel flowing again. 

If the engine cranks slowly when hot, it is electrical! Starter, timing, bad connections on positive or negative battery cables (both ends!), battery, solenoid, etc.
