<VV> 1964 Mobil Economy Run

The 1964 Corvair 700 achieved 23.2 mpg in the 7 day 3500 mile run from LA to NY, averaging 48 mph during the April 3-9 trials. The top car was a Rambler 440 at nearly 28 mpg. A Chevelle with a 6 and a Nova with 6 nearly beat and beat the Corvair mpg. I am looking forward to checking my mileage on the way to Wichita a week from Friday.
