In the 90's, the company was hiring many from Cal Poly SLO, and they would 
intern during the summer....

Those that voiced interest in "field" engineering......that's "hands on" 
anyplace on the globe....making things work as we advertised.....even though the 
parameters given us during the sale were totally bogus....were sent to spend a 
week with me at the peaking generator facility....

Those that  expressed  "joy and wonderment"  were given the opportunity after 
graduation.........those that thought the place was a nightmare and 
dangerous...were given a desk...if hired......
