It's NOT the compression ratio, as stated earlier!   A mild cam [ little 
valve overlap], coupled with 10.5 to 1  will give a cranking pressure of 180-190 
psi....this is "on the edge" with a standard winding!

Also,  the HD  solinoid can carry more AMPS without the disk burning!  
Replacing with a standard, would guarantee Solinoid failure in a very short number 
of start cycles.
