<VV>OK enough

If you look at the membership, 2/3rds of us live within 500 miles of
Detroit. The truth that the west coasters don't want to face is that
there is a thousand miles of nothing between the Mississippi and the
west coast (nothing derogatory meant against those living there.)
Similarly for those down south. There are great expanses of low
population/great distances involved in the South and West.

This discussion happens every time there are conventions assigned to the
East and Midwest Divisions, and it brings up lots of whining and
crocodile tears. The hard truth is that, as several previous posters
have stated, it depends upon what club will host it. And no matter where
the convention is held, SOMEone is going to be dissatisfied. Heck, I
could complain about the conventions in Portland and LA. Both are just
as far from Ohio for me. But that's ok as far as I'm concerned. And I've
made every convention!

I have to agree with the subject line. ENOUGH.
