What is the trick to installing a new stator shaft o-ring without it getting
cut as it passes the bearing oil passage? I've thought of filling the oil
passage with RTV temporarily to ease the sliding of the o-ring past it.
Using a thin feeler gauge to cover the hole is out of the question because
the stator shaft is already a slight press fit in that location. Ruined one
o-ring already.

Help!!
