You could. But why would you? Modern multigrade - especially synthetic - oils are far superior and more readily available.

The only reason I would use SAE30 is if I had a huge stash and no collectors wanted my nice big quart cans.

I wouldn't use 20.

Hi one and all, when I was a kid and had my first Vair (66 4dr.), on summer I would run 20SAE oil.  Can I safely run 20 or 30 weight for summer driving? (110 engine)
