<VV> Chromalusion paint?

ChromaLusionR is a revolutionary special effect basecoat with with a unique
MirrometricT pigment technology. The color appearance will change
dramatically based on the viewing angle. Multiple hues appear as you move
around the painted surface.  ChromaLusion actually comes in 36 different
formulas. This is a true custom paint, as the overall appearance can be
changed significantly depending on the color of basecoat that is used. Black
is most common and results in the best color "flop".  Although it's an easy
to apply basecoat finish, it is a custom finish and should be treated
accordingly.  Results may vary depending on technician, equipment, spray
environment etc. A spray-out panel is required to verify color appearance.
A let down panel that shows 3, 4 and 5 coats of ChromaLusion over the ground
coat is recommended.  Custom spray techniques should be employed to assure
even pigment orientation, consistent coverage at overlap areas and desired
coverage versus appearance.  The base coat dries to a smooth matte finish
and should not require sanding.  If however a small area needs to be sanded
to remove dirt, it must be followed by an application of more color before
clear coating.

All Chromalusion colors are priced the same. These formulas can be mixed in
quantities as small as 2 fluid ounces. The price is $27.75 per ounce,
$356.00 per pint, or $671.00 per quart.

I think it's fairly obvious that this paint should only be applied by an
experienced spray painter with professional equipment and a proper spray
booth.  At $356 per pint you don't want to have to do things over.

As an aside, while silver has continued its reign as the most popular color
choice worldwide for the past six years, its popularity is beginning to
decline in favor of a fuller palette of high-chroma colors.  Silver is also
giving way to its sister neutral color - medium-dark grey.

With regards to the Monza in ebay auction #4632407521, can anyone explain in
layman's terms how that sort of paint job is done?  Is it just a specific
type of paint or is it the way that the paint is applied?
