<VV> Glass Problem

Someone did some grinding on the interior of my Monza coupe and didn't 
properly protect the rear glass.  As a result, there are defects that 
feel like grains of sand all over the glass.  Is there any way to remove 
them, or should I invest in a new rear window?  BTW, found the same 
thing on the lower left corner of the windshield!  :-(
