Smitty Says:  Paul pepole are correct in saying you probably have stuck valves.  The normal way to fix that is to remove the head and work the valve loose.  I have been successful using carb cleaner and a large plastic mallet.  Take the rocker off.  Use the little straw that comes with the cleaner and wet down the stem where it goes into the guide.  Smack the valve stem a few and then repeat the proscess.  If it ever starts moving at all then you are almost assured of success sooner or later.  Once the valve is moving in and then reseating, start using oil to flush the carb cleaner out of the guide.
