I did a compression test on my engine and found:
6 = 110, 5 = 126, 4 = 127, 3 = 131, 2 = 120, 1 = 132
I was wondering if number 6 wears faster in the Corvair engine. Do some cylinders get oiled better and some run hotter? Who knows this information? What is the cylinder with the lowest pressure typically? All my readings are lower on the left side relative to thier counterpart on the right side.
I think this motor sat for years and I am trying to bring it back to life. I'm not sure if the readings are totally legit or if I have sticky rings or a loose rocker. I have some trans fluid in the block right now and want to add more, then change it later.
