Just to be a bit more explicit
1) collect all available GM keys - ignition or trunk does not matter
2) determine which will slide into the lock and put the rest back
3) insert each key and wiggle vigorously while turning slightly - not hard 
- toward open (in locksmithing terms, this is similar to "raking" the 
tumblers).

If a LM could also take the glove box lock to a locksmith but AFAIR there 
is one more tumbler in the trunk than the glovebox and even though it uses 
the same key, the mechanism is different.

Are other ways but most require a new trunk lock afterwards.
