Check out Kennedy Engineering for the adaptor to hang a Subaru engine 
on the Porsche transaxle, make some front mounts and figure out a way 
to fabricate some sort of rear engine mount and you should be good to 
go, if you wanna go that way.

Actually, if you do this with an SVX engine you could end up with a 
nice piece of running gear.    That's one well designed and just 
plain pretty engine.   And bone stock it's good for over 200 hp, more 
with some tuning tricks.    And, it would all fit in the stock 'Vair 
engine bay.

You'd need to address the axle yoke situation though.
