OK...  So the Final Answer

The glove box cardboard can be installed from either the back or the front. 
If there is a glove box light, then installation from the back is likely 
easiest.  If the install is on an AC equipped car, then installation from 
the front is the easiest route regardless of whether or not a light is 
present.

When the job is completed (and if installer is of legal age), it is time for 
a Miller Lite.
