Hi LonWall-San
I am picking on you because you are probably flat on your back with lots of
time to think, while you are soaking up pity and body massages from all your
friends there .. (g ) ... oh, yeah, and partly because we highly value your
considerable opinions....

We are a small ma & pa job shop, we make about 300 different products,
mostly 100-1000 each a year, and being fully cnc can do those short runs ...
mostly to stay under the " buy it from China" problem... that isnt going
away ( sigh ) ...

anyway, while playing with a stuck engine Oliver farm tractor, it has
occured to us that a hollow spark plug might have some use as follows: you
take out the regular plug, then pour in a ring-soaker ( fuel oil, Marvel
Mystery Oil, Liquid Wrench .. whatever ) then put in this new hollow spark
plug and chuck it up to an air hose ( I will machine on a chucking feature )
with about 50 lbs pressure ( to be determined ) which will try to force the
solventschtick past the stuck rings ... therebye unsticking that one
cylinder faster .... repeat for all cylinders, maybe one a day we hope ...

I need advice:

1) ok, so J.C.Whitney probably already has this ... or snap-on? anybody
know? We see that we could purchase a compression checker and cut off the
tube, but still wouldn[t have the air chuck adapter ...
2) I think these could sell retail for maybe $5 area ...
3) there remains the hassle of having to relax the valves on most of the
cylinders .. will anyone screw with that ( back off the rocker adjust? ) or
is it too much hassle???

********
Would appreciate any and all inputs, any long comments perhaps better
off-list at your discretion of getting a F. ticket from the F. list cops.

Thanks for the time.
