I don't believe that Early Models had Protect - O - Plates

  Smitty Says:  Boy are you out of touch.  I thought you knew something about Cortvairs.  All Corvairs had Protecto Plates.  They are over the rocker panels and have a little antique buggy badge on them.  protect the pinch weld from getting all scuffed up.
