I'd look at the front mounts to make sure everything is symmetrical, also
the bolts from the transmission to the crossmember for tightness (and
shims).

The engine in my 64 leans down from level about an inch on the drivers side.
The mounts look ok but are old of course. What should I look for that could
be causing this?
