Tim,
Unfortunately I know of no flow tests that have been done on stock Corvair
heads so everything is pretty much based on Chevrolet's engine test data.

Using that, the LM 95 hp engine develops about 10 lb-ft of torque more than
either the 110 or 140 at speeds of 1000 rpm to around 1400 rpm. At 1400 rpm
all three engines are about equal in torque. From 1400 rpm to 2600 rpm, the 95
is way LOWER than the other two with the 110 having more torque than the 140.
BUT from 2600 rpm and UP, the 140 outshines the other two greatly in torque
and thus horsepower.

So what is it that you want? torque at 1200 rpm? At 2000 rpm? or at 3000
rpm?

Regards,
Bob Helt
