<VV> RE: Sedan VS Sport Sedan

I always think of the Monty Python skit with the school kid (Eric Idle)
asking the gentleman (Terry Jones) if his wife likes "sport" in relation to
sport sedans and such. Either that or the meaning in old genetics texts,
where a sport is a random mutation. Using that reasoning, the late sedan
is a mutant late coupe, which neatly explains its lack of a B pillar.

Greenbriers, as befits their 6-9 passenger capacity, are Sportswagons -
suggesting that a plethora of sport is involved. To avoid offending Il
Commandatore, I shall resist speculating on the nature or quantity of
sports. Since there was a factory camper option, we must assume that, among
others, sports involving thin, horizontal, uncomfortable sheets of foam
were anticipated and sanctioned by GM.

By the conventional lettering they have a, b, c, and d pillars, (or would
that be a, b sub 1 b sub 2, and c pillars?)

It seems that Volvo, Subaru, Honda, and BMW have built Sportswagons at one
point or another as well.

Perhaps they're all mutant Greenbriers.
