But you were on the EAST Coast!!!!!!!!

In SoCal / Southwest......in the 60's........MEN  drove ONLY  
2drs!.......Young women ONLY drove 2drs!!!   Married women drove 4drs....if they had lots of 
kids...FAMILIES  drove around in 4drs / station wagons....

My Foster Mother  lusted for my '56 Olds Super 88 TWO DOOR... she was forced 
to drive one of 2 station wagons..the one with 4 drs!!!..Uncle Herman drove 
the 2 dr!!  When I was done with it...I gave it to her!  Aunt  Gerdie  always 
said, "  Of my 8  OWN children....none ever gave me a present  like MATT did!" [ 
I was her "favorite!!!]  GGGGGGG

To this day....I've only had 2 4drs.....a Renault Dauphine and a Puegot 
403.....in  1973-4...during the gas crunch.......Finally, late 1974, I was able to 
score the '65 2dr. Vair that you see on my Homepage!!
