PG will be 3-5% higher revs (steady state on level road - depends on the 
power applied) due to the slip in the torque converter.

My 66 PG has a 3.55 axle, think earlier ones had a 3.27 and later had 3.55 
also. In most conditions there is little difference between the 4 spd and 
the PG but for performance, the lack of a 50-80 mph "passing" gear (3rd) hurts.

If I ever buy a second Corvair, it will be a Corsa Coupe.
