I stand corrected.
 
I moved back to Californicate in 1988 after 25 years there. I guess I'm out  
of touch. The only 
time I'm ever there is Construction Season.
 
I did buy my first Corvair there in 1964. A 62 Monza 102/4 coupe.  
Immediately learned about
the Corvair's superior winter handling. Owned 3 while there and have bought  
4 since returning
to the "left" coast.
 
My vote for worst City in the USA for Construction Season is Las Vegas. It  
never ends.
