Ackkk!!  It's not the battery terminals - they're clean and tight.  This isn't some neglected early model ya know.  It's a well loved and cared for late.  And a convertible to boot so you know it's extra loved.  

I did check the terminals, and the "horrid plastic thingy" too.  It's gremlins I tell ya, the same ones who make the "squeaky" noise.
