Folks,  this has been the norm in Calif. for decades....

You do your business with the sellers.....do not utter the word tax....

At the end of the day the seller fills out a form and "declares"  the $$$ 
values of his sales... pays the amount due...   DONE.....

Only the seller needs to "worry"  We buyers just need to drive a "hard 
bargain!"
