<VV> Re: pink vs. purple on coil supply wire

I finally got to my mother-in-law's house to check out the coil supply wire.

I checked the wire on the body side of the engine compartment plug of the 
harness out of my old '65 Monza. It was black with a stripe which is pink. 
It looks like it could be seen as purple if it were not compared to the 
large purple near it.

I checked the same wire on the harness in my '66 500. It is definitely pink.

Both of these wires looked discolored from the new roll of pink wire I 
bought to wire the HEI for the 500. I guess 40 years takes its toll!
