I assume (there's that word again) that we're talking a differential gauge.
I think the +/- 2 inches of water gauge is going to be a real pain to use.
1" of mercury is about 13.6" of water so a difference of 0.2" of mercury
already has you gauge pinned.  Like Matt says, +/- 15 would be much better.
Maybe even +/- 30" of water.

Any range will work!...just if it's wider  15-0-15   just easier if you are 
waaaay out!
