Well, the predominantly Harley "lifestyle" crowd managed to set a new  record 
this year.      18 will go home in  caskets.  The fantasy/lure of living "La 
Vida da Harley" has sucked too  many incompetent riders in and since Florida 
abolished their helmet law, many  seem to have lost their sense of 
self-preservation.  No helmets and black  plastic mixing bowls can be seen everywhere.  
Most people don't  know that the female biker who campaigned for - and won the 
right to no  helmets in Florida, was - herself, killed when she went down with 
no  helmet.
 
This story is all over the news here so look for something to be done in  the 
way of Legislation......or not.......    I guess it's a  person's right to 
act a fool and also disregard basic safety common sense.
