For those of you heading to the convention from points due west of Lake
Michigan, consider a route using one of the Lake Michigan car ferries.  You can
shorten your trip, avoid going through Chicago, and have a bit of an adventure
crossing the lake.  From there it's a straight shot across Michigan to Port
Huron, a quick dash through Canada (bring your passport or birth certificate)
and then on to Buffalo.
